Requirements

5+ years of experience in network engineering. CCNP equivalent.
Responsible for responding to service requests and incidents.
Experience with Routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, redistribution, mp BGP, eVPN), firewall rules, NAT, DMZ.
Able to troubleshoot network issues spanning multiple networking technologies, device RMA, upgrades.
Able to work with vendors to troubleshoot issues and find root cause.
Ready to be part of on-call rotation. Ready to work off-hours with 3-5 days of notice.Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Job Description

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer who has a broad spectrum of knowledge with all networking technologies. Being in operations team needs understanding of all parts of network. Also includes reacting to alerts, working with vendors and clients to resolve issues, working with other network teams such as engineering, architects, automation teams to understand the changing network and troubleshooting problems. We maintain a 24X7 on call rotation.
