Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office).

Job Description

Develops, administers, and interprets programs and policies for safety, compliance, and injury and illness prevention. Contributes to campus activities as a safety officer. Performs safety related functions such as chemical safety, radiation safety, occupational safety, fire prevention, physical safety, or environmental protection. Manages key EHS programs to include Indoor Air Quality, Ergonomics, Mold Assessment, Asbestos Management, and Respiratory Protection. Manages industrial hygiene related equipment including care and calibrations, preparation for use and operates the equipment when necessary.
