Requirements

7-10+ years' experience in utility scale PV and BESS design. PV and BESS constructability experience in multiple geographic regions. Understanding of design optimization and maximizing values of utility scale solar and BESS projects.Knowledge of all PV technical disciplines (Electrical, Civil, Structural, SCADA, HV, etc.). Strong understanding of PV cost stack and how design considerations impact project LCOE throughout the project development and design process.

Job Description

Select, engage, coordinate, and lead all technical conversations with Owner Engineers (OE). Lead, manage, and guide (OE) throughout 30%, 60%, 90%, IFC designs and RFIs from EPC contractors. Manage and coordinate 30%, 60%, 90%, IFC design review with OEs / SMEs & Other internal reviewers ensuring evaluation of design risks/flaws, and Value Engineering (VE) opportunities impacting project design, energy yield, and project cost. Lead and coordinate all engineering/technical conversations meetings with EPC contractor & BESS supplier/integrator during the project execution phase.
