Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or higher / in Journalism, Communications, Film preferred or equivalent
5-7 years of experience in a newsroom
Essential training, knowledge of licenses and/or certification: video news wires, audio recording, and video editing
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Flawless verbal and written skills in Spanish Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Job Description

Produce original videos for the News Digital team. Responsible for the development, production and editing of audio visual content in a timely manner. Produce, shoot, and edit original stories of high quality in video format. Innovate with new edit techniques and approaches to stay ahead of the ever-changing digital media landscape. Track scripts, pull supporting b-roll, SOTs, and photos. Produce and execute livestream coverages in all platforms, when needed. Create compelling news video content conceived for web and social media platforms. Publish videos using both Telemundo’s CMS and third party video distribution platforms (ie: YouTube).
